Chairpersons Welcome A warm welcome to the official Roscommon Association Manchester, website which I hope will give you an indication of what we are about as one of the largest County Associations here in Manchester. First of all, I must pay tribute to our founding Chairman, the late Michael Butler, R.I.P. and all those other former officers and committee members, both living and dead, who paved the way for our association as it is today. Thanks to all of our loyal supporters for helping us since our formation in 1985. Through your generosity we have been able to give thousands of pounds to various charities over the years. It is good to know that we have so many good friends who tirelessly give of both their time and practical help. these are signs the the time-honoured values of friendship and co-operation are as strong as they ever were, within the Irish Community in Manchester, particularly with regard to helping others less fortunate than ourselves. all this is only possible because of those who share our aims and objectives.
